Especially in the historic old town. You can find nice specialty shops in the Klaasstraat, Gasthuisstraat, Parade and Jodenstraat. Larger chainstores are mainly located on the Lomstraat, the Vleesstraat and the Maasboulevard. For many years, the Nolensplein and Gelderse Poort area has been the domain of German bargain hunters. But even that is an experience to stroll through! Settle down at one of the restaurants and terraces to relax.
With the opening of the Maasboulevard, Venlo's city centre gained 25 brand-new shops. Hence the rightful title of 'best town centre 2013-2015'. You can park in one of the 5 car parks:
Roermondsepoortgarage: 450 parking spaces (€ 1.90 p/h)
Nolensplein garage: 590 parking spaces (€ 2,10 p/h)
Nolensplein Bovendek: 170 parking spaces
Maaskade Laag: 200 parking spaces (€ 1,80 p/h)
Maasboulevardgarage: 550 parking places
